I was seriously considering it, but the bridge problem really is a negative. Hate to miss the sprints at Lawrenceburg, but at least I've got a really good alternative with the POWRi midgets at Belle-Clair.
I saw an Indy car race at Kentucky Speedway in 2002. I compared it to watching sprint cars at Salem. Very enjoyable.
Don't let the Nascar traffic situation stop you from going to KY Speedway. Sadly, the crowd will be about a 1/4 of what it was in July....that might be high too with the race being this time of year. I've been and never had an issue getting in or out. It's a great place to see a race. The main seating makes the place feel like a theater. I saw a good one a couple of years ago when Briscoe beat Carpenter by half a car.

This race use to run on the same night as the sprints at Lawrenceburg, but it is a Sunday afternoon race this time. High temperatures shouldn't be a problem this time of year, though.

The IndyCar race will probably have around 45,000 to 50,000 less. It shouldn't be near as bad.
We go all the time. Not alot of traffic, some but not gridlock. You guys can cross the I-65 bridge to get back and forth. Shouldn't be much traffic at the hour you might be passing thru.
I am!!! I am!!! and it's a triple... not a double... The Lawrenceburg USAC show.. the Indy Lites series... and then the IZOD Indy Car Series!!! Good Luck to BC !!!!!
