I see that LPS still has TBA for Sat. Oct.1 & Sun Oct.9
Is anybody privy as to whether these will happen? Especially the Sunday show will be nice. If Vukie or anyone else might know somewhere to go I would appreciate it. Of course I know about the obvious early October choices - ie Gold Crown & Kokomo Klash.

I wish more tracks would go into the fall (Oct). I understand they need to winterize and be ready to close it all up for the season. Oh and the track conditions may not be the greatest.
I remember some excellent racing in the fall at Terre Haute. I think they called it the Fall nationals. 1 day had wings and the next was regular sprints and some of the wing guys would stay and take the wings of to run that next day.
I miss the daytime or early start racing in the fall so you don't freeze your tush off.

Peace & love to all.
God bless our Troops at home and abroad.

I believe Oct 9th, is a typo, should be the 8th.

Joe is considering racing in October. My recommendations are to race until it snows.... but I realize that is not being realistic. I think it all depends on the amount of support he gets.

October 1st has a couple of choices. PowrI is at Belle Clair and USAC & MSCS are co sanctioning sprints at Lawrenceburg. MSCS is at Tri State on the 8th as well and USAC Silver Crown will be at Toledo on October 15th.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

The Montpelier Motor Speedway will be racing regular programs through October (except the weekend of the Kokomo Klash) with some specials that will be announced in the next few weeks.

Damn. I was hoping for a 4th show after Granite City.

The 3 major Southern New England tracks close their seasons with 3-day weekends in October. Unfortunately, this year, Seekonk and Waterford are both running 10/7-9, while Thompson is running 10/14-16. A number of tracks hold later enduros; I think Star closes that season on 10/29.

Back in the good old days, Seekonk ran a show on Veteran's day, but that was a long time ago.
