How about bringng out the padlock allittle more it seems like everyday the same people are ******** about the same things.

This was once the best message board around and Bill did a great job giving us a place to talk but it seems like recently it is just alot of ******** and nothing constructive

I say bring out the padlock for a while calm every one down

I know I know it but seems like it has been worse the last couple months and when I was reading Flat Out yesterday and they even listed the worst trend of the year was internet message board ******** makes me wonder is it the time of year or has it really gotten worse

It always gets bad in the winter and if you click the Report Post the mods will look. I try to let it go until it get personal and people start calling them out or baiting them.

I do agree that the internet bashing gets out of hand everywhere. I hope our members understand what Bill Gardner has done with this message board. Talking to other members a lot of them say they won't post news type stuff because of the spin everything gets. That is too bad they feel that way.

Say a prayer for Bill as he has started his seconf round of treatment.

Let's keep our unfavorable opinions to ourselves. Most of us have probably been guilty of putting down at least one race driver on this board and others and I am one of them. We need to get back to what these message boards were originally designed for - keeping each other informed and enjoying chatting about our favorite sport - auto racing.

This is still the best racing site and message board! To me it is good wintertime entertainment! And of course an information center!
PS Alot of people do gripe alot but as was mentioned, people need to blow off steam!

It like their are a bunch of little old ladies on this board always crying about or bashing someone. I tought this was a message board so people could disscuss thing 's , not bash people . I didn't get on here much these days because of it , lets talk racing people !!!

I have been on this for a while and for the most part things seem interesting with good people and exchanges, I live in central ny and have backed off going to the supermodified board due to constant bickering about rules, schedules purses as well as specific individuals. I feel it can be very powerful to outsiders who read nothing but negative things. Many times by people that know they can stir the pot and cause problems and do so for there own entertainment. Many are sinciere but recently disscussion about the sport we love gets all clouded in the bashing and negatives. I feel this is a powerful tool. I come here for some good race talk but when a board turn into a combative place it is time to put a stop to it. Everyone has there own views and expression, Thats very important.........no need to get personal. -Tom :thumb:
