I believe it was published somewhere last year that Knoxville saved $200,000 by going to tape delay over a live broadcast. You basically have to pay for everything involved with putting on the show. I think the straw that broke the camel's back was the year they were rained out and had to pay the extra expense to run on Sunday.

Tough break earlier for Brady Bacon. Running second, late in the B-Main and got a flat tire. He was going to transfer, for sure.
