Menard's has discounted tickets for the Thursday night show at IRP, USAC Midgets & Silver Crown plus ARCA. $10 off so would be $25, otherwise $35 at the gate.

I was a tad confused...so they are actually selling tickets at menards? At first I thought you just picked up a coupon to take to IRP for the discount...

selling discount tickets, if you live around Indy there has been a few commercials on TV and they really are confusing because they make you think it's a $25 ticket and then you get $10 off that. But it is $10 off a $35 ticket at Menard's. Lot of good racing for $25, although $15 would have been WAY better...lol. AND if you know an Indy area UAW member give him/her a call ASAP, Friday night at the Speedrome is UAW night and they have freebies to hand out, we got 16 of them... and FREE is better than $15 at the gate!

Picked mine up today. I mentioned it to a couple of employees and they had no idea that they were selling them in store. No signs or anything up in the store. I finally asked at the register and they called a manager who did know about it. I asked how many they have sold and he said that I was the 10th. I wonder why?

Just went and bought my ticket. If I wasn't a USAC fan, I would have no idea that there is also going to be a Midget and Silver Crown race as well. The ticket only mentions ARCA with a picture of a Menards-sponsored ARCA car. Oh well, I guess.

By the way, here is the schedule of events for Thursday night at IRP. Looks like they are getting an early start out there.

That was on the event schedule that I saw on both ARCA & Raceway Park websites. I mentioned in an earlier post that announced ARCA was coming to LORP that it would be a rather long day/night of racing. Glad that they allow coolers to be brought in with the heat they are predicting.
