I hope it's OK to post this here within the main forum.

I would just like to say a BIG thank you to everyone involved in the running of the USAC Indiana Sprint week. This was our first (of probably many) Sprint Weeks.

Me (Stephen Cording) and my Partner (Ailsa Haigh) travelled from the UK along with our veteran USAC Sprint Week buddy and photographer Colin Casserley. And we've had an absolute blast.

Every night we were treated with the utmost respect and shown fantastic hospitality. We made many new friends every night. Far too many names to list (remember) them all but I'd like to give a shout out to Bob and his RV buddies, Chuck, Kevin (we first met at Ocala), the Darland sisters, Dallas, Allan Brown, Bill (Twin Cities), Chad Boespflug #98 family & crew, the USAC lady. I really wish I could name you all, but you know who you all are.

Thank you all, you really made our vacation special. And we will see you all again in 2012.

We attended the following shows

8th July - Gas City
9th July - Kokomo
1oth July - Lawrenceburg
11th July - Brownstown (Late Models)
12th July - Twin Cities – It was me on the PA that night !!
13th July - Terre Haute
14th July - Brownstown
15th July - Bloomington
16th July - Tri-State
17th July - Angell Park

I gave out quite a few photograph's with our English cars on them F1 Stockcars.com sadly these did not have the Facebook Group on them. So if you'd like to get in contact with me or keep up to date with what we're doing in the UK sign up to http://www.facebook.com/f1stockcars

Once again thank you one and all, you were all awesome.

I know of Adrian Blackwell he races the Formula Two Class (#767). I only really watch the Formula One class (the ones with V8's) in the UK.

I've met Colin and Mark Kelly on a couple of their trips to the states. Great guys! I'm glad everyone had a great time.

If I remember correctly Mark likes punk music. Mark was coming to Angell Park a few years back but with the bombings in London his flight was held up. Ended up missing him at APS that evening.

That's the guy We (Me, Ailsa & Colin) had a fab time at APS, the Midget Hall of Fame is superb and a credit to all involved.

Those pre-WWII photo's just remind you just awesome those drivers were back in the day.

Never hooked up with any race fans on our visit, but the staff were all super friendly at this tidy track.

We will be back

It was nice hanging out with you guys, The wife lived in the UK for 8 years, while she was in the service, so she loved talking to you.
