I like Lloyd's idea. Would be a late night though I'm thinking. Are they running any other classes that night?

They haven't run support classes at THAT since 2008, no reason to think they would start now.

Curfew is midnight. Enforcement has been hit or miss it seems. In the old days, it seemed they enforced it. Lately, if the race is still happening there (which they were done by 11pm when the O'Conners were doing it) at midnight, they were allowed to finish it.

Maybe with no other classes running, they could get it in if they waited till the sun went down. Probably still a crap shoot though. Oh well, it's gonna be interesting to see what happens anyway.

Back to my original question. Any word from anyone at USAC on who is doing track prep?

A suggestion, spend some money and hire Reece Oconner.

Isn't the definition of insanity considered to be doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result? And just how many well run, timely with good/excellent track condition races has Terre Haute had in the last three plus years?

The only time the track was excellent and program ran on time was when the O'Conners and Bob Sargent had it the last two races last year.....

I really want the track to succeed.......come on USAC, do tell who is doing track prep and if they are the same people from the SC race.

We were a little apprehensive about THAT, until I read the news. Thanks USAC, for the decisions made concerning the fans. Looking forward to next week.
