On vacation near Indy (Beech Grove) Just found out I'll be free on July 2. Does anyone know of any races that will be within a hour or so of Beech Grove. Thanks for your help.

lincoln park speedway in putnamville --- sprints - mods-- super stocks --- bombers --- always a good show AND A BIG FIREWORKS DISPLAY
Now, don't quote me on this but I do know that Lincoln park speedway In Putnamville is running on the 2nd, now Im not too sure on distance from beech grove but I think it's maybe a hour away Posted using Mobile Device
I'll put a third vote in for Lincoln Park Speedway. The racing has been excellent there, this year. It sits right on US 40, so it's easy to find and it's just a good place to watch a race. They've had a real good fireworks show there the last two years, too.

A man is about as big as the things that make him angry.
IOW has this neat little feature ont he toolbar called Schedule
LPS and Paragon both are about a hour from Indy.
Waynesfield is probably about two hours.
Most cars, Paragon.
Best track, Lincoln Park.
Most wild card big teams taking a shot. Waynesfield.
Its a Win, Win, Win situation.
If you go to LPS or Paragon and want to sit in the main grandstand area. Take your lawnchair. Makes it all that more enjoyable and you can use them in the grandstands
HAVE FUN!

Where do they shoot the fireworks off from? Are they best viewed from the front stretch stands?
Looks like LPS is paying $2,000 to win. My guess is that most of the quality will go there. But, Paragon is paying $1,400. So, who knows. You can't go wrong either way.

Inside the infield. Any place is good, but in past years, the front stretch grandstands is the best place to be for the finale. Just don't take a drink, you might spill it all over yourself.:2:
