Might just be a convoy of race fans headed that way Jim.

Mike

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

Why so early on a Sunday? I know not everyone goes to church, but some of us do. Between the early start, hour drive to get to Terre Haute and the time difference between Illinois and Indiana, I guess I am going to miss my favorite race of the year. Oh well, enjoy the race everybody.

Maybe it is so that anyone wanting to do Silver Crowns and Kokomo Sprints can do both in the same day?

Probably, it makes sense from that point of view. How many do you think will try to do "the double"? However I don't think scheduling a race that early on a Sunday gives them the chance to snag the biggest audience. Attendance at the SUMAR hasn't been great lately anyway. I always hear about needing to attract young fans and families. Well quite a few young families attend church Sunday morning. If you live close, you could probably still make it after church. More power to USAC and THAT for a successful show, but if anyone gets on here afterwards to complain about crowd size being too small, then they won't have a leg to stand on.

Maybe TSR doing double? I really don't know who would. Though, if they run it and the Tony Hulman Classic with the Sumar, how does that affect Kokomo?

USAC's website has the race listed as a night race. Is there any "official" information about this race anywhere?

That's going to bring back memories for long-time Action Track fans. I know it will for me. I wish Jack was still with us, to see Sunday racing come back to his favorite track.

ISP, I saw the same thing.

I'm not saying the info here isn't correct but one would think USAC would have it all on their website since the race date is fast approaching.
