Vernon, IN - The originally scheduled North Vernon Sprint Week show paying $3000 to win on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 HAS BEEN MOVED to MONDAY, July 11, 2011!! This change has been made due to Tuesday being the only day available for Brownstown Speedway to reschedule their UMP SummerNationals race. Track promoters Mason Fleetwood (Twin Cities Raceway Park) and Tim Keithley (Brownstown Speedway) are working closely together this season and trying to avoid at all possibilities of racing on the same nights.

With the USAC sprint week being on Sunday at Lawrenceburg Speedway, racers and fans will have to go right by Twin Cities Raceway Park on the way to the next event. Camping is always FREE at Twin Cities Raceway Park, so go ahead and make plans on attending Twin Cities Raceway Park for the North Vernon Sprint Week Show paying $3000 to win for sprints!

*Please note this is NOT a sanctioned event.

Refering to this race as a Sprint Week race is very misleading, Sprint Week is in refrence to USAC INDIANA SPRINT WEEK, not a coat tail event such as the one at your facility!!!

Wow, I didn't see him put USAC in his post. He said regulars have the opertunity to make a stop and race at the next event. Why B*TCH about having a race paying some good money that some very good teams that don't run USAC might attend as well as some USAC regulars?

It's nice to see two tracks working together, it makes them both winners.

As for North Vernon during sprint week, if you don't like it, stay home.

Thanks for the heads up. It is refreshing to see two tracks work together for the benefit of the fans. I am sure it was a difficult decision to pull off of your announced date, but in the over all picture, I think you will be a winner.

Being selfish, I now have another night that week to go racing.

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
