2008 will see USAC making changes for the good but catching hell because nobody likes change.
2008 will see Bob Sargent & The o'conners running THAT without a Sprintweek date.
2008 will see LPS sold to the quarry behind the track or Robin will own it.
2008 will see Chad Boat becoming everybodys new Daron Clayton. He will win 6 races between crashes.
Clayton will win 4 races for Truckers with their new DRC's chassis.
Shane Cottle will be USAC Sprint champion in 2008
Jon Stanbrough will win only 20 races with the Mr. Happy led Fox Boys.

Not a real dark horse, but Chris Windom is going to have a good year, Matt Neely too. I know, I have to cheer for the Illinois guys.

Probably not a stretch but Jeff Bland Jr will add a USAC Sprint Car feature win or two to his resume.

Although, terribly underfunded compared to the rich kids, I believe Joss Moffat will be very competitive again this year and will compete for another championship at Lawrenceburg.

I also look for Chris Windom to have a good year, but am anxious to see Hunter Shuerenberg in his new ride and the young man, Sammy Imel. Sammy looked very strong in his rookie season in a sprinter, ended the season with the equipment in decent shape. I look for this low budget team to regroup over the winter and open some eyes in 2008.:thumb:
