Grandma Kim gave me two racing related gifts for Christmas --
The book "Roadsters Of Iindianapolis... Glory Days"
http://www.roadstersofindianapolis.com/
A wonderful book crammed full of photos and info of the best years ever at Indy.

Belmont Publishers "Bud Williams' Thundering Through History" 2008 calendar.
This calendar contains B&W photos of such icons of racing's better days -- mostly '50s, with a couple from the '40s and the '60s. Stars include Pat O'Connor, Tommy Hinnershitz, Jan Opperman, etc.

Really the only two gifts I "really needed", the rest were "icing on the cake". I hope the rest of you were recipients of racing-related gifts that made you as happy as mine did for me!

I gave my son and his girlfriend tickets for all five nights at the Bowl. Maybe he will pay for gas for the trip?

My girl stopped by Everything Racing in Speedway and picked up the D.O. 2007 XXX thrills and Dean Mills Midgetweek & Sprintweek dvd's. Great DVD's and D.O.'s funny as hell with KO & Hoyer talking trash.
Couple of hoodies, hockett & clayton. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

My girl friend got me The 50 Years of USAC book and the free video.

The book and video are fantastic, but saying that, the $160 price tag is a bit much. Oh well, it was her money and I really like the gift.

If USAC viewed their this video it might help solve some of todays problems.

My wife gave me, Hewitt's Law and a Tony Elliot can cooler. I know how hard it was for her to give me the Elliot can cooler, anyone that knows her knows she is not a fan of his.
