Little Rube was on top of the updates tonight. The track held up well without anything being done to it until the sprint car feature. Got a little dusty about 8 laps in or so. A good night of racing from all three divisions.
Sprint feature had two red flags and it is always great to see the drivers walk away from the flips. Westfall was able to run down Weir and take the victory. A good battle between him, Weir and Windom in the later part of the feature. Final rundown looks something like this:
1)54-Westfall, 2)22-Weir, 3)5-Windom, 4)140-Gulick, 5)40-Grant, 6)17r-Robbins, 7)23-Simon, Kyle, 8)10-Gentry, Aric; 9)42g-Irwin; 10)2h-Hewitt, Dallas.
The modified feature was also a war for most of the distance. Jerry Bowersock had the lead but had to fight off a number of challenges from Bitterling and Willams. These two guys were side by side for the majority of the feature event. Top five looked like this: 1)5-Bowersock; 2)225-Bitterling; 3)45p-Post; 4)11-Williams; 5)03-Seeling.

The track was perfect all night, dirt track racing will bring you some dust. If you want no dust, go to Salem or Winchester...Track was in perfect shape to produce good racing. A nice cushion, a bit slick but not too slick, just right....P;us with the threat of rain around 11 and you could see it off in the distance, it would have been stupid to piss around watering the thing all night and then get rained on.
