I've been stating how fast Flemington was. At one time they were saying it was the worlds fastest 5/8 mile (mods). I just saw a youtube video of Wolfgang in 1989 doing a 15.86 at 142 mph lap in a winged sprinter thats going pretty good.

few years back chris perley was timed at 150 mph in his isma supermod..................

it WAS fast, and faster after it was paved but there was always a question of the exact size......where was the "5/8ths" measured from?....inside..outside...first row of grandstands?
