How many of the guys that ran at Ocala will be running the title this year? Keading? Fitz? Hunter? Cottle? Hope they all do cause I think this could be one of the best years in a while!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could see Hunter running all of races but very doubtful the rest you mentioned do it. Bud is making a living running with a wing out west now. Kinda surprised he made the trip to Ocala after running the ASCS openers at Tulare and Hanford last week.

from the way fitz talked when they interviewed him after the race it sounded like he was gona try and chase the title this year

Seems like Sprint Week eliminates all but a few teams in terms of chasing points. I'd imagine that'll still be the case even with the absence of the pavement.

In order of probability Good Chance (Hunter, Fitz), Doubt it (Cottle), Not a chance (Bud)

Fitz told me they would be runnng for the title this year... and after a great weekend in Ocala im sure the #10 will be a USAC national car all year...

I would say you won't really know until the PA swing in late May as all the upcoming races are at either Eldora or Indiana tracks in which the majority of the guys who were in FL will be at those shows. Imagine at that point many will evaluate where they are in the points and decide if they head to PA.

Bud is running a true "outlaw" schedule again this year, splitting time between USAC National Sprints and Silver Crown, King of the West Sprints, as well as some local California 360 action, and various other events...
