Since LPS is not paying any 2010 points fund, is this the way they are going to fund the 2011 points fund??

Before everyone goes crazy, I am seeing nothing here that says it is true, all I see is someone posting something that is a rumor.

The LPS website shows the schedule for the year but has nothing about the cost of getting in the pits or stands. It kinda leaves it open for change. I hope not. As for the points fund for 2010 Joe told a few of us at the banquet that he was waiting on money that was to go to the points fund . Humm maybe that didn't happen. It would be nice to have something set up before the year starts. Like the 50/50 going to the points fund or sponsors. If LPS has no points fund in 2011 that's fine just let us know. Joe did give the drivers that showed up every week a free pass to get in the pits all year for 2011.( Big Thank you for that Joe.) Looking forward to 2011. Joe and crew has done a great job at turning things around and getting cars in the pits and people in the stands.

Who did you hear it from. That should tell you if it is a rumor or the truth. I would say if it wasnt from someone at LPS then its a rumor and should be treated as such.

Scroll down to the 2nd page. It says $30 pit pass per event.

That is the only increase... My guess is the additional cost will be applied to a 2011 point fund. But that is only a guess.

If thats the way we are paying for the point fund byraising the pit gates then save everybody some money and do away with the point money thats not rocket science, lets hose the drivers and crew for point money wont be any different than 2010!
