For those contemplating on heading south for the USAC Amsoil Sprint Car season opener the weather forecast is picture perfect. Head south and check out the best non wing drivers in the country!!

Feb 16 Wednesday
Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the low 70s and lows in the upper 40s.

Feb 17 Thursday
Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid 70s and lows in the low 50s.

Feb 18 Friday
Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the upper 40s.

Feb 19 Saturday
A few clouds. Highs in the mid 70s and lows in the low 50s.

booked a flight a week ago. had not planned on it but things change. plan on being at practice wednesday. should be a fabulous time!

5-8pm. then a get together at Ker's wing place in Ocala after with usac people and fans.

I hope the track is in better shape than it was on Sunday for the Late Models. I have never seen a track as rough as it was on Sunday. WIth the lighter weight of the Sprint Cars, i am praying for a smoother surface

Mike and his crew was out there today tearing up the surface to get it right....look for a great show as allways from the 3/8 mile track....


DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE 1/4 MILE RED CLAY TRACK RACING NON WING LIGHTNING SPRINTS...SEVERAL USAC DRIVERS WILL BE THERE....RACING AT 1PM...GATES OPEN AT 9AM...JUST 1.5 MILES SOUTH OF THE OCALA SPEEDWAY IS THE OCALA MICRO SPEEDWAY...PRACTICE TUESDAY AT 1 RACING WED/SAT .... CARS ALREADY PARKED AT THE TRACK AND READY TO GO COME ON OUT AND SEE THE 1000/1200 SPRINTS
