This one says Tony struck the guy in the head with his helmet. The Co owner then nailed him giving him a black eye trophy for his trip home

You have to have stuff like this happen to create excitement at a wing race. The moral of this story is this is what happens when you go wing racing. Sorry couldn't resist.

If indeed it's true, it's pretty chicken sh#t to throw a helmet at a person.

But without the tossing of the hard hat, Stewart would likely have had his ass handed to him rather quickly by Morris. I am just guessin' but I bet Ol' Smoke was pretty sure things were about to get serious, and he was just lookin' for a slight advantage. :2: Either way, lots of press coverage! Brett "The Jet" Morris, he ain't no Mamm's boy!

BTW, have any of you ever actually seen Tony is a fist fight? Didn't you see fear in his eyes as soon as Robby Gordon moved to retaliate in the oft-played video of him foolishly shoving Robby Gordon? "He ain't no Jack Hewitt"

Stewart pulled some crap at the Chili Bowl a few years back. It was a racing deal and Tony got knocked out of the race. He went over to the other driver and took a few jabs at him while he was still in his car. Then headed for the pits. Alot of us sitting where we were thought and knew it was uncalled for. So, in hindsight who should know better about doing this kind of stuff but him?

WGAS if it was dusty or not, the fact that Tony is b1tchin' about track conditions in general, makes this whole thing a joke. The Stewart-Gordon deal looked like 2 school girls is a 'slap fight'.

I think the problem here might be that Tony refused to race after his Heat , due to track conditions.
But, he was being paid expenses and appearance money by the promoter to race, not to cause him problems. I'd be pissed too if I had my star attraction anywhere but on the racetrack. (His travelling companions apparently had no problems racing on a rough track.) I like Tony for what he has accomplished as much as anyone on here, but I think Tony needs some lessons on when to tone it down. |
