Don't put these on your schedule in ink just yet but don't be surprised to see $10,000 to win MSCS/USAC shows at Haubstadt Sept. 27 and at L'burg Oct 4. Ties in real well with Eldora Sept. 20. Also don't look for any ISW shows at Terre Haute in 2008 even though it seems pretty sure the Action Track will indeed have action next year. USAC does have three dates penciled in for Terre Haute in 2008, however. On Labor Day weekend Haubstadt will be running on Sunday night so the DuQouin decision will be there for some folks again.

I appreciate those of you who had pity on me and have once again boosted my ego back to it's normal stratospheric level. I also asked my master dirt track preparing source if he considered having the Hut 100 at his place and he said he would only do it if USAC would guarantee him three years to build the event but they would not do that. I think that is a mistake on USAC'S part as Haubstadt would be a premier track to showcase a premier event.

I think the only place for the hut 100 is Terre Haute. I like Haubstadt, but wish they would run Sat on labor day weekend. I bet attendence would be better.

I like Terre Haute for the Hut,too, but it would be nice to give the event the stability that it needs to grow and not be treated like an unwanted stepchild. I also believe a 100 lap midget race would be an absolute close dogfight at Haubstadt's bullring.
