RIP, Ralph.
I never saw Ralph race but I remember Ralph Jr. with the ever present Mickey Mouse atop his roll cage.

Ralph was one of of several drivers that helped define sprint car racing in the midwest. Particularly the Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska area.
I saw Ralph win some hard fought IMCA races, especially really hard to win heats. Ralph always greeted you with a big smile.

The IMCA racers built quite a fan base that helped make sprint car racing what it is today in the midwest, interesting many future young fans also. Ralph was a great participant in those races.

Our sympathy to Junior and the Parkinson family.
