My name is Chris Bounds, I live in Lima ohio and race Mini Sprints at Waynesfield Motor Sports Park.
I have been racing karts for 10 years and This was my rookie year in a Mini Sprint. I have 62 Feature wins in karts and Finished 3rd in points at Waynesfield this year in my 600cc Mini Sprint in a 1000cc class.
I am looking for Sponsors to help me reach my goal of racing in the Tulsa Shootout this year. I have upgraded my Mini Sprint and now have a 1000cc engine

Not trying to be mean or anything, but this is probably not the place to be looking for sponsors. I know some people on here might be business owners and such that could possibly see the benefits of sponsoring you, but most are just normal people that are fans of the sport. You should probably go talk to your local businesses and such to see if they will reach out and help. Come up with a resume, just like you would for a job, with all your accomplishments and things on there. That will be a basis for them and you are going to have to tell them how it is going to help them by advertising on your kart. This takes a lot of work drivers and car owners go through it every year. The percentage of asked to receiving is very low. Might ask 50 people to sponsor you and just one might say yes. Like I said though this is probably not the place to ask, so go out in your community and search for help. Good luck.

THX, I am doing all you said and more, Trying to leave no rock unturned. A former Sprint car driver is sponsoring me for part of the trip. So posting here has been fruitful! I just hope someone who loves racing as much as I do reads my post and you just never know! If you don't try it will never happen. Winners never quit! and quiters never win!
