I thought maybe some IOW readers would like to see these vintage racing photos from Oswego Speedway, New York from the 1970's.
They were sent to me by my sister on 26 November 2010, so I mulled it over for a while and said what the heck why not post them on the IOW site. I am sure there are a few open wheel supermodified fans amongst us.
The photos were taken by my brother Bob
NOTE: Maybe some IOW readers have raced agianst these Oswego Speedway veterans a time or two.
Anyway have a good day...see you at the races (DuQuoin on 18 December 2010) I hope to see some of you there.

Thanks Rich for the trip down memory lane, you know I love seeing all of the vintage photos you can find from the 60' & 70's, the era you and I were fortunate enough to grow up being a part of and becoming friends with many of those pictured. Keep posting all of the great stuff you can find, it is greatly appreciated.
I'm lovin' the exposed quick change & rotor in the front end of the #39 Freddie Graves mount. Was that front or 4 wheel drive? Thanks for the peek at the past!
