Hi all!
I am a rookie, and plan on running mostly winged shows, but do want to give wingless a try.
I will be running the same front axle.....outside of lots less stagger in the rear, what other adjustments will I need to make? Thanks in advance.

40" Eagle winged car
All I do is block the car lower (4" & 4 1/2 or 5" compared to 3" & 4"), less stagger like you said, heavier tie-down shock (s), and move the RR out further. I use an old -5 off wheel and pretty much have it all the way out on a long-spline axle. If I did it more than a few times a year, I would have a 52" front axle instead of the 50". So I just stay w/ the 50".

1000's left, 1025's right
straight 5 shocks across front & on RR. 4/7 LR
blocks: 3.5 front & 5 rear + 1 turn in RR
wheel spacing: LR - 13" RR - 20"
LR radius rod in lower mounting spud, RR in upper
this should give you a pretty consistent baseline, depending on what you like you could run a different shock package
not a whole lot different really, could get more extreme if you want to use a longer front axle, sway bars etc.
adjustments would pretty much be the same as they would with the wing i.e. shocks, wheel spacing & offsets, bars & turns in or out on each corner. some of the numbers are just different obviously
call the chassis builder & they can help ya more

Just a quick reply just short of the one year mark since asking....I got the car back out Sunday at Fremont, and gave wingless a try. WOW was it fun! I just went out to get laps and was pedaling to stay with but behind the pack, but think I might stick with this and give this a serious try.

this could be very helpful, bringing back up to keep it going ... I really have no mfr support here ('99 Stealth downtube 86/40) and no non-wing experience ... thanks in advance for any tips
