Scooter Ellis Inc.

(Brownsburg, IN) After two successful racing seasons, Scooter Ellis and C.W. Management Racing and California driver Cole Whitt will part ways effective at the end of the 2007 racing season. Ellis cites the time commitment and the rigorous CW Management testing and racing schedule as the reason for the amicable separation.

I agree. Cole is a nice kid and mom and dad are great folks too. I'd bet they will be back next year. At least I hope so.

I would bet you see Cole driving in a Keith Kunz car next year. He had him in a sprint car at Perris for the Kindoll Classic and he is also entered in one of Kunz's cars for the Chili Bowl.

Here is an excellent opportunity for a team to get a really good young driver who is very talented, competitive, and drives with respect for his fellow drivers. Nice guy, also. Cole seems to me to be the complete package.

Talent, competitive and respect for his fellow drivers. Those are just some of the fine attributes that this young driver brings to the track. No matter who's team he returns with I'm sure he will be an assest to them and a good ambasador for the sport of open wheel racing.

I saw him run several times this year. Each time I saw him it seemed like he was getting better & better. His race with Stanbrough & Darland at Kokomo proved he's got the right stuff. I met the young man at Perris during the Oval Nationals, he's very polite & well spoken. My wife & I became fans after our chat with him. We're pulling for him to get a good ride in 08 so we can watch his progress.

I guess he will make it back to Indiana sometime next year. I wish him the best in his transition.
