So where were you during the 20+ USAC sanctioned national events this year?

I would say that you are not making a convincing sales pitch for selling that car by those comments. Those potential buyers will be running for the door after you say that!

I seen him at one (Midget Week/Gas City) also at the Hewitt classic.
Like most owners without a local track, He probably races according to return on investment and his realistic chances of winning. He has a very fast Midge.

My Guess is Coondog has a National ride.

OK... here we go!!! Regarding the outdoor season: I pick and choose races. How stupid do you think I am to race the USAC National midget circuit against mostly multi-millionaire teams that have no end to funds?

To prove my point, I probably have the best winning percentage in the nation with my Stealth/Sesco Mopar. :checkered:I don't show up at races where I have little chance of winning. Roughly 25% of Jerry Coons Jr's fantastic wins were in my car. Bubba Altig was on his way to the front at the USAC Gas City show before the rearend gave out. And I don't showup at motor eating half mile tracks either, thanks. :thumbsdown:Generally the smaller the track, the better I like it. Also, I don't spend all my cash at the Silly Bowl lovefest and park the car for the rest of the year, thanks again!

Thirdly, I'm not a multi-millionaire like the TinTop funded teams and others with big name sponsors that can afford to race from coast to coast. Not gonna happen. I know my limits, thanks. And I'm still in the midget business, unlike a lot of the other teams that disappear after a few years. If you want some current examples, there are a few BMARA teams that are folding because expenses are so high and they mostly race at one track the entire season.

Regarding my legal midget at Fort Wayne: That car is capable of winning there as it won in 2002. :checkered:It's basically a dirt midget that can be run competitively at any smaller dirt track or small pavement track in the country. And it has a bitchin Gaerte Ford in it that is capable of staying with the best of them, thanks!! :greenflag:In fact, you may see that car showup at DuQuoin. We'll see.

Hey, I was wondering if somebody could help me out here...LOL!!!!???

:kookoo2::rolling::thumb:

1) I was wondering if the little 500 is 500 laps??????...lol

a) Ok, you answered that question.

2) How much is the purse for the little 500?

3) How much would the purse have to be to attract the same
amount of racers for the Midget 400 to be equal equal to
the fans and racers who attended the Lil 500..ie... purse wise?

4) If the promoter can equal the purse in proportion to the Lil 500, I
see no reason why the Midget 400 should not be a success fan
and racer wise.

5) And not knowing anything about midget racing or fans or midget
races I would say no racer or no fan or promoter should
have any problems about this race if the the promoter can match
the purse of the Lil 500 for the Midget 400.

6) If the promoter can not meet the purse proportion wise to
the Lil 500 for the Midget 400 then Don Moore has a point.

The promoter is trying to make a buck off the racers. Which
I here is typical in some racing and at some tracks.

Larry "O",

I would doubt that the Midget 400 would pay what the Little 500 pays out purse wise in the very first year. The Little 500 has a very long history and it has taken a number of years to gain the race sponsors and lap sponsorships. I would think that Rick Dawson would pay a fair purse but I doubt it will be equal to the Little 500 payout. JMO

Like always Don Moore decides to take a post off track and whine and cry about how much money he is losing against the billion-dollar tin top teams. boo-f*cking hoo! :crying: Maybe you will be doing everybody on this message board a favor if you sell your car and get out of midget racing1
