This race was scheduled for June 11, but was rained out between the first and second heat. Then it was bumped to September 4th but there was a conflict with that date, then moved to September 25. The Must See Racing Xtreme Sprints were given the opportunity to take part in the Open Wheel weekend at Berlin with ISMA and because HOSS supplies its officials (and a good numbers of its cars) Anderson agreed to again back it up to October 30.

We all hope the October 30 date works, but would rather not make it a regular racedate!!

I'd really like to see people come out and support this race because Rick Dawson and Anderson could have EASILY scrubbed this show months ago.

They didn't.

I honestly hope everyone will come out and support this event. Very rarely does a promotor take a risk on an event of this magnatude this late in the season. This really is risky. This gives open wheel fans one more chance to smell methenaol outdoors in Indiana for the year. Hopefully this could trun into a yearly event for open wheel racers that closes out the midwester season each year much like the old Snowball events at Winchester that always was run the first weekend of November!

Thanks for the great remarks about our track and staff. We are looking forward to a great show this Saturday. So far, the weather looks good too, mid 60's. Please note our special race times: front gates open at 3, qualifications at 4:45 and racing at 6. The qualifications are often as exciting as the races. This is the latest we have run a show since aquiring the track in 1997, except for our annual New Year's Day race, but it looks like mother nature is going to be with us for a change. We look forward to having everyone here Saturday.

Author Zach Tasker has latched onto the HOSS series during the second half of the season. Travelling from Illinois, the college freshman has kept close tabs on the workings of the series, its competitors and the fan support as he is studying for his broadcasting/mass communications degree. His article listed above is an example of his work ethic and abilities.

For 2011 he has plans to work in Illinois, and broaden his skills in pursuit of a career.

Thanks Zach, for your youthful charisma, perspective and dedication to the sport. We have enjoyed having you around and look forward to sharing in the happiness of your success for years to come.
