We've had to set a record tonight for the most pit stops in one Silver Crown event.

Good race, unfortunately light crowd, bs move by East to bring out caution, funny how everyone complains bout nascrap for all the cars looking the same, all silver crown cars look the same except #20, go out and buy some aluminum, a sheet metal brake and get creative. JMO.

Johnny was injured in a nasty accident at Berlin and the carnage was kind of high when we talked with folks who had gone to the show. Glad we missed seeing it as I enjoy good close racing but not demo derbys.

The year that I was there for the ISMA show it was indeed a good race. I hated it that they had to call it half way through due to weather. I have also watched the pavement late models of the old ASA series run there in the past and it was always a good show. I hope that the USAC Silver Crown show will also be great.
Years ago I use to love to see open competition sprint cars at both Salem and Winchester. These events, back in the 70's and early 80's brought a group of some of the super modified guys including Todd Gibson and his Flinstone Flyer. It would get pretty hariy as the supers were so much faster than the traditional sprints. Man they were fast.

When I was just a kid I do remember going to Dayton for the races there. I can't recall who was driving, but there was a four wheeled super that lapped the field. It could have been Tom Sneva?

That might have been one of the best pavement Silver Crown I have seen in a really long time. 5 cars battling for the lead at about lap 100. Great to see the Swanson Family on the podium. I will say you all better get used to it. One of the best most respectful families in racing

That was a very entertaining race! You could throw a blanket over the top four for most of the race. And even ended with a bang with Tanner Swanson backing it into the T1 wall after taking the checkers.

The midgets were outstanding as well. Great show, very glad I made the trip up.

Just got home, had a great time. Heck of a race tonight. Disappointed in the crowd. On to Springfield.

Great race! home by midnight 2 hours away. i too was a little upset with East's stopping on purpose to bring out a yellow and then racing the leaders holding up Kody just when all were in traffic. But then again i see his point trying to get his lap back. Yet another good pavement champ car show.
