It is true we had to postpone the scheduled race for tomorrow at Terre Haute. We were notified of saturated grounds and pit area this morning and the inability to get equipment on the track. After additional rain, and forecasted more rain late this evening into tomorrow we have announced to our competitors the need to postpone this race. Our web site will be updated when Dick Jordan returns from Terre Haute from a media tour promoting the event. A track inspection by USAC confirmed the infield and pits were saturated and the track requiring significant preparation to be race ready.

Thank you for the update. It is disappointing to cut one of the open wheel races from the "yearly celebration of the fenders," but at least we know early.
