LLoyd,

Maybe they could take advantage of the situation and change the series name to National Sprint Federation, or "NSF" for short.

The MTS had a similar problem at Thunderbird Raceway near Muskegon. Track workers spent 15min getting a spun car squared away. Driver asked if car was ok & was told his sterring rod was bent. He looked out & it wasn't, he runs a shepards hook. So he fires off & spins out again. Found out later the link to his 5th bar was broke off & wasn't spotted. Race was shortned to 12 laps & the promotor wants to cut the purse. It didn't happen so he cut the payout to his own people & now they're upset with MTS. Don't know who made the decision I was told the promotor did. Ended up getting the rest of MTS races cancelled for the season. Even though there were signed contracts for the dates. But who in their right mind would want to go back.

Checks can bounce, cash does not. It depends.

It doesn't bode well for your series when you show up at a track with more police cars than race cars.
