I would like to take the opportunity to say "Thank You" to Lawrenceburg Speedway, Dave Rudisell and Race Announcer Chad for making this "The Best" Sprintweek ever for Beer Belly Bob (AKA: The Oil City Outlaw) and his family!!!! The air conditioned suite was marvelous.

Yes - I was the crazy fool on the Flag Stand waving the checkers during track preparation. Chad's Beer Belly Contest afforded me the opportunity to completely embarass my wife, Sandra and daughter, Marissa. BUT - Sandra was the person INSISTING I compete in Chad's Burlesque Show.

More importantly, Chad's Belly Competition allowed us to meet AND make hundreds of new race friends over the past two weeks.

It was truly a fun filled Indiana Sprintweek the Farris Family will never forget. Thank you "everyone" for your encouragement during my (what was I thinking) exhibition and kind words the following week....

Thanks for giving us all a laugh. You sat behind me at Brownstown and I saw you several times during speedweek and I chuckled every time. Thanks for making everyones speedweek a little brighter. Are you gonna defend your title in 2011???

Stand on the loud pedal and turn left!

One of the most entertaining things I've seen at the track outside of the actual racing lol

Bob, you was the show that night!! We work very hard to provide entertainment while there is down time on the track, and this contest was awesome. Thanks to Kim, Chad and all the contest entries. I was on the track in the floater truck making laps and did'nt know what to think when i saw you on the flagstand waving the checkered flag. It was some good stuff.
Thanks.

Bob-

Glad you had such a good time at Lawrenceburg and ISW in general. You know, I must tell you, those kinds of contests are never planned. Depending on how much time we have inbetween races or classes is when we decide what we are going to do. We had some down time, and at Lawrenceburg Speedway we are always doing our best to keep some kind of fun going on at all times, and that was what we came up with. It was not the first beer belly contest we have ever done, but clearly the best, and if you come back next year, make sure you let us know so we can make some arrangements for you to defend your championship! I even heard Rob Klepper was talking about this at other ISW tracks throughout the week. After all, he taught you how to dance according to you.

Thanks again Bob and family, it's fans like you (and the other contestants) that make what I do and what we try and do at Lawrenceburg Speedway so worth it!

Maybe we can even get you one of those sashes that says "2010 Beer Belly Champion"

Hope to see ya again real soon!

What wonderful replies and what wonderful people I have met since Lawrenceburg!!

Chad - If the Good Lord is willing, you can bet I will be at Lawrenceburg (and every other track) during Sprint Week 2011 so go ahead and order that "Sash".

One of my main concerns is my diet. I am planning on loosing about 100 pounds. Do you guys think that might hurt my chances of properly representing Lawrenceburg Speedway????

For the hundreds of people that ask where I learned to dance, I graduated from the Rob Klepper School of Dance in June 2007.

Thanks again and The Farris' truly LOVE you ALL...... Bob
