As drivers we all at times fall short and make mistakes and at times let our anger get the best of us. At no time should ANYBODY and I mean ANYBODY be glad somebody got hurt what so ever!!! That's imature and easy to say while your sitting 20 rows up in the grandstand. I've done wrong and been wronged but never glad when someone is hurt. Posted via Mobile Device
Thomas did put a cheap move on Hud in turn one and no doubt Hud was on a mission to get revenge. Surely he's gonna tell us the throttle stuck! Hud was gonna trash his car either way and it appeared he was gonna do it by driving through Thomas's cockpit, he never lifted when he dove in to hit Thomas. Thomas is alive and well today because no doubt God was with him that very moment. Hud's lucky he's not answering to God face to face right now! All can be forgiven and a lesson well learned.
Hud got hit hard in turn one by KT, not a bump, just returned the favor in turn 3....he rolled the dice and lost, could have just as easily went the other way, knocking KT out of the way and getting the transfer. KT should understand now when you hit Hud, expect him to return the favor, even if it means hanging his own stuff in the fence.

Dude, Hud was NEVER gonna make that corner running in there at that angle.

Even the writer in the Evansville Courier newspaper thought Cone tried to take Thomas out.
Quote:
Hud Cone, a local favorite from nearby Oakland City, appeared to have the final spot until he was cut off by Kevin Thomas, Jr. between turns one and two.
Only Cone wasn't having it. He rushed back into contention and tried to cut off Thomas between turns three and four. But Cone missed and ran over the top of Thomas' front left tire.

Did you just say that you're glad someone got injured in a racecar?
I don't want anybody to get hurt in a racecar but in that circumstance I am just glad that it was somebody else that got hurt because of his poor decision.
He could have taken up his frustration another way, but he chose to use his car to try and hurt someone. I have no respect or compassion for somebody dumb enough to do something like that.
Does he own the car that he was driving last night? He was driving a grey 22 at Brownstown and Bloomington.
I don't condone someone rung into anyone but certainly understand the frustration. Last week at paragon I had the same problem with Kevin Thomas jr. The track had taken rubber on the top and that was the only place you could run, so I had to slow down for the cars in front of me. So Kevin Thomas jr thought it was a good idea to drive hard into me and cause me to lose a couple of positions. I drive the 3G and I had to follow someone for 5 laps before I got around them, but I races them clean. In my opinion Kevin Thomas is a dirty driver. It takes more skill to get around someone cleanly. Kevin Thomas jr is gonna get someone hurt before too long Posted via Mobile Device
