Haven't seen anything posted, but I stopped by the track Monday and they are still planning on the sprints being there. We're going to take the wing off again and run this show if it's still on.
Thanks,
Dan Chady

The track announced the ASCT race on the StlRacing.com forums. I'd say we are good to go.

For those of you who have never been to Mt. Vernon to race or see a race; expect too see a dry slick, dirty, one groove on the bottom track, unless this have improved (which I doubt) in the last 4years since they last ran a Midwest All-star wing show there. I hope I'm wrong. They are advertising on local radio regularly for this show.

Maybe it's just me, but isn't it counterproductive to run this race against ISW at TSS at the same time and less that 100 miles apart?

Like I said, maybe it's just me.

I don't really see it as being much different than this past Saturday. Gas City had ISW, but Paragon and LPS both ran the same night.

Also, no offense, but I don't think that ISW will alter the car count for ASCT.

What about the fan count? It can't help.
