This seems to be lost in the news of Track Enterprises taking over.

I will say this, from what the track was back in 07 to now is a drastic change. Where Chris N. lacked in track prep, he was better at some things because he has access to equipment, quite a few improvements were made. Water no longer stands in the corners thanks to Chris N (he dug down about 20 feet and put big rocks in there to improve drainage.

I would like to thank Mike and the boys for all their efforts. Were there problems sometimes? Sure? Did anyone else step up? No. You did the best you could and thats all we can ask. Clearly, you did much better than the previous promoter. Thanks to Chris too for giving it his best shot. Thankless job, thats for sure.

No but last show when dick from gas city and joe spiker offered to help get the track ready after monsoon from the water truck.....they both offered to help..mike said they would get it...I asked mike king last yr if he still needed me to help packin with my own truck...and king says what a pack truck...

with a the advertising that they are doing to promote this race i'm guessing about 40 cars
