Another entertaining evening of sprint car racing at ORP. Hmeil had them covered for sure as he stunk up the show for the second time this year there. He certainly has that place figured out right now.

The battle for second through about sixth was intense for much of the last 20 laps. Coons finally wrestled it away with Swanson settling for third. Brian Gerster had a nice run to finish in the top 5.

The show was run in a timely fashion and they even had some fireworks at the end of it all. Dyno Don should be happy as he had the best of all worlds this evening. A single class show, checkered before 10:30 PM and with the fireworks at the end, he got his world rocked all in the comfort of his seat on the frontstretch. Sorry, but I couldn't resist.

Mike

Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante

He is the real deal for sure and another great young driver from the Golden State. Not sure about the Iron Block, but it was a new Toyota 360 engine.
