One of my co-workers at "Big Yellow" was often Stan's pilot. (In fact, many of us referred to Stan's business as Caterpillar, Jr.) This pilot indicated that Stan's wrench (Anderson??) was the biggest reason for the firings of drivers. Frankie was his own Wrench, hence the firings ended.

the first sprint car shirt i ever bought was a shoff motorsports shirt when frankie kerr was driving for them. it was at pargaon speedway. rip

Saw Frankie beat the best at THAT during a SCRA show! Thanks for owning one of the best looking Sprint Cars! I was so lucky to see the car without a wing! RIP!:checkered:

I may be wrong, but I can remember Ron Shuman driving the Shoff car at an Outlaw race in Kokomo back in the early 80's. R.I.P Mr Shoff :checkered:
