I am looking at buying a 410 engine that has a set of BD 2000 heads,I know of guys using the GB 2000 heads, but hadn't heard alot about these heads,I know the header's are different. Just wondering how they would compare horse power wise and if anyone had run these heads and how well they work. Any info would be great.
Thanks,Gary

The heads are essentially identical except the BD has a symmetric valve placement (exhaust-intake, exhaust-intake, exhaust-intake, exhaust-intake,) as opposed to the conventional Chevy style alternating valves (exhaust-intake, intake-exhaust, exhaust-intake, intake-exhaust). Horsepower in each should be very similar if they have been given the same port machining. You mentioned the header is different, remember that the injector is different also.
