I recently bought a 23T from Pennville, Indiana. Closet thing to driving a sprint car as you will ever get.

Had a Question on Schock Dynos, and wondered if You had a Hand in The Maxwell Industrys Schock Dyno Software, but Your E Mail no Longer Works.

Larry O, I'll admit it's a blast, but I've had both, the 23T Bucket was fun, but God saved the best, for the Sprint Car, I don't know of anything else in this world, that can compare to the all out thrill of mashin the gas on 750hp, and turning left, I believe you could kick the hide plumb off a football, 24hrs later! My new email is lawrenceb.otani@yahoo.com I didn't think they could ban you from an email address, but they did...lol! I think I was a bulley and threatened some real estate agents, title company and lawyers when we sold my mom's house...lol! I thought they were crooks...lol!

We sold the rear end out of the TQ and boy those things are hard to replace. It's the rear end ratio that's kind of rare. The TQ needs a lot of work. It's been sitting for a long time. I'd be afraid to give it to you because I just don't know what state it's in and it's in many pieces. The frame is irrepairable. It needs a new frame.

And TQ29M,

We will buying a new sprint car motor from Pennslyvania in the very near future. I'm willing to bet it has about 720 HP. It's a 36O. I know the car will be purchased shortly afterwards. I expect to run a few small races and totally get my tail waxed. As far as the football goes, I know there are few people that will want to kick me around like a football on the track! So hopefully nobody gets hurt..lol!

Good luck in your new venture, Larry O, I'm sure you'll do OK, wish I could afford another SC, but it isn't possible at my age, but we're happy doing what we can, with what we got. Just havin fun, doing more than we should, with as little as we have. Bob

LarryO, my good friend, who also is a former T roadster owner, and sprint car, reminded me that the T was much more of a Chick Magnet, than the Sprint car, which I had indeed forgotten! Drive on! Bob

Dear Bob,

Do you drive a TQ? I have always thought you did from your posts. The car attracts a lot of attention, but none from people my age which is 55years old....women that is. I would be happy even with a woman 45 years old, but most are married...lol!

I have thought about parading around town with a "White Sport Coat", which is my most favorite song, which I use to listen to on my Dad's 78 Juke box and big yellow bow tie. I think cars are about image. I think TV "Tom" Ivo did a good job and I would like to portray that image while driving a 23 T Roadster or the sprint car. Everybody needs an image and one that hopefully sparks the fancy of Americans. I always like the fun things in life, like 50's & 60's music, a little beer and a pack of smokes. Maybe I need to wear a black leather jacket to the track with a white T-shirt and a pack of smoke roled in the cuff. I know a lot of people would dislike it, but that's because they don't realize I'm just trying to have a little fun in life.

LarryO, I have a good friend that lives close to Pennville, Portland. I got a few years on ya, I'm pushin 73, built my roadster in 1965, from scratch, don't drive the TQ anymore, except to hotlap once in a while, when my driver is running late. I could probably enjoy the Roadster now, but it's gone, and I don't see another one in my future. Drive safely, and enjoy. Bob
