Rollie beale 1973 usac sprint car champion is going in for heart surgery june 18th in toledo to have a by-pass and repair a valve! Say a prayer for a great man!

Easily one of the top ten sprint car drivers it has been my priviledge to watch in the past 50 seasons. Hang tough Rollie.

Not only one of the greats but a fine gentleman as well.

Saw him race many a time, a few of those times with a team mate known in these parts as Superduke.

I will send a few prayers his way for a successful surgery.

Watched him win during my entire childhood, got the privilege of sitting with him at the Little 500 a few years ago....get well soon CHAMP!

Hello from the Beale family, we are still at the hospital had a few ruff days but the old man came thru very well from the surgery. He should be getting out of ICU tomorrow and hopefully soon after that going home. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. FYI he is already signing autographs for the hospital staff !!!
