Due to heavy overnight rains that has flooded the grounds of the Kokomo Speedway, racing has been canceled for tonight. The Bob Darland Memorial will be made up next Sunday night June 13th.

Thank you for the early heads up, I knew at 3:30 am. it was not good. We got 1.8 inches of rain in about a half hour flooding streets all around town, just north of us a tornado was on the ground for several miles. We hope everyone is OK.

Just talked to Monica the infield, office, concession stand & parking lot are full of standing water. Bummer

I'm glad this weekend is over.The only good thing to come out of it was laughing my azz off at Kevin(ama's flagman)after Gas City's sunout.Time to restock the coolers and try again Tuesday

Motorcycle races are cancelled at the Bunkerhill Speedway.

I was ready for this show, had the truck packed, and headed out for my 4 hour jaunt to Kokomo. After driving a whole two miles, even though I was still in Michigan, some serious flooding had occurred and maybe I should have TJ check the status for me.

When he answered the phone he said you're not on the way to Kokomo are you ? I will try again next week.

Kokomo Speedway definately got a lot of rain, they got standing water everywhere! Parking lot can race boats, inside is no better. I heard it rain, but didnt realize the weather was so bad. Usually we get pages on our phones all night if the weather is bad. THunderstorm watch is about all I got.
