Does anyone know where this kid is. I haven't seen or read anything about him so far this season. I thought he was a promising up and comer.

Like many other promising young drivers, we don't have the money to continue to try and compete in this class, so he's on the sidelines looking for an opportunity to drive someones car.

Currently you can find him at the tracks helping his friend Jordan Kinser in the 5k.

I would've loved to see him have a chance to defend his SK Memorial win this weekend... Maybe next year.

Another young gun that is missing is Sammy Imel from Anderson. I haven't seen him at the track this year. This economy has really taken a toll on the lower budget teams.

Brent Beauchamp is another. Sold the sprint car stuff and is running a limited midget schedule. Hopefully that schedule includes the Bob Darland memorial on Sunday.

John,

He ran the POWR I series at Belle Clair on Sunday and finished 4th in the feature. Sorry to hear that he sold the sprint car stuff.

Didnt notice that, glad to see he is out there racing. I have always thought he had more talent than his equipment had allowed him to show.

Don Short has been more generous to this sport and the people in it than probably anyone else in recent years. People spend their money on equipment for their own team and driver. We would have never been able to race sprint cars at all without a lot of help from him and many others, and we appreciate the opportunity that we had.
