Does that sound right? Somebody told me (leo4502003). You didn't think I remembered this one did you?

Gotta love the knee shocks and tires....:checkered:

That picture rocks! Nothing beats seeing a sprint car sideways with the wheels locked like that. Wonder if his elbow is getting a little warm?

Or maybe Jerry Niemire or Art Braithwaite also.

WOW - I work in Temperance, MI and never figured I would get a chance to see it mentioned on IOW. Pretty cool around here - when I bought my midget I got to work on it at Don Harrell's Garage where he taught me how to care for an open wheel race car the right way - and was fortunate enough to have Rollie Beale stop on by or maybe head over to Jerry Nemire's place to get a part fixed over the years. Just wish I was born early enough to see 'em fling 'em sideways over at Raceway Park or maybe down at New Bremen..... Cool pic - you talk to the "old timers" and those fat right rears took all this kind of racing right away. Thanks again for posting the pic - and here's a shout out to the Temperance, MI crowd (I would think that there is more than one here....)

I know this thread is "dead", but I thought I'd confirm for anyone interested that it is in fact James Guisbert. His son remembers the car
