wow i thought that was a black and white photo at first untill i saw the red frame of the second car barely peaking though all the mud. So glad I didnt waste my time and money going out there tonight.

I don't care that "usac told them to water the track"...if that photo is real, that is INSANE. It is indefensible. It demonstrates a lack of understanding regarding track preparation that is beyond justification. That is what a track is supposed to look like 24 hours before an event. Goodbye Action Track. It wasn't your fault. Man undid what better men established. Sounds like everything else in our "modern era".

the picture is real I have a lot more of them just like it this picture is before they took the cars off the track to work it more

I was just complaining to my wife that the twitter feed wasn't getting updated enough, then realized how spoiled I am. I was only a few short years ago that I wouldn't know anything about this race until NSSN came on Friday ... or Saturday ... or Monday. :-)

The front car is Shane Hmiel. You can tell by the wing mounts, the hood, and the wing car nose piece.

The front car looks like Shane Hmiel judging from the nose piece. He is the only one I have seen running that this year. The back car is not Jerry Coons unless the Hoffmans have abandoned the F5 and switched to an older DRC. Thinking it is Ricky Williams judging by the neon orange.
You guys are too fast for me or I am too slow typing.
