My preference is the grandstand, but have been all over the place. Infield is cool to get closer to the action, but is difficult to see all of the track. Hope you enjoy.

grandstand exit of turn four. Its neat to stand in the turns and watch em hotlap on three or even two wheels but like the other said. Its hard to see the whole track.

Big long straights, Tight turns, Whats not to like?

Like many of the tracks I've been to, I have only been to Terre Haute once. Like many of the tracks I've been to, I have only been in the infield.

That being said. Terre Haute is the only short track I've been to that has a tunnel that you can access with a grandstand admission ticket (I believe). That's an opportunity I wouldn't pass up. I seem to remember someone else posting a similar question last year.

I would go down to the infield for hot laps and back up to the grandstand for the racing. JMO. If you've never been that close to the track, it's a pretty cool thing a lot of us forget about.

I personally like infield on back stretch.. watch them haul the mail all the way down the stretch and shut it down entering 3..

If you like pure speed and get a chance....Sit in one of the front rows in the main grandstands just past the flagstand for a few laps.....You can really get a feel for the speed the sprint cars are traveling down the straight-a-way and carry into the corner....If you sit there too long you will get pretty dusty, but worth sitting there for a few anyway....

I forget about the other bad track with Gen. Admission infield access, until I read this post https://www.indianaopenwheel.com/showthread.php?t=31922. That's the Grove via the backstretch bridge. To me, these are what add character to these tracks, and add to the overall fan experience.
