I know i only get to make about 3 trips a year to Indiana but i visit this board often and this is why i love Lawrenceburg and the entire crew and especially Mr. Rudisell. Dave posts more things on here than any other owner or promoter that i know of and he tells it like it is. He is very informative and for him to come on here and say he blew it is impressive beyond belief. He didn't blow anything, nobody controls the weather.

Dave, you made the right decision based on the forecast, and the forecast only missed you by a short distance, as it has been, and still is raining heavily just south of the Burg.

Dave,
Don't beat yourself up over the call you made. With the weather we had yesterday, no matter what you decided it would have been wrong. As a true race fan, I will take chances to see a race even with the odds stacked against me (LPS last night). You on the other hand have to make a call with not just us hardliners in mind, but for the casual fans who won't take those chances.
Also, you need to have a decision that you can live with for owners, drivers, crews, workers, and visiting series officials. Not an easy task when the sky is ominous and the forecast isn't good. There will be better nights for racing at da Burg. See you then.

Mike
Be nice to people on the way up. You might need them on the way down. Jimmy Durante
