My Dad made his first trip to the Burg and Kokomo and really enjoyed seeing both tracks, got to give credit to Dad to sleep a couple nights in a van seat in not so favorable night time temps as he will turn 70 in just a month. The racing the first two nights was pretty good then what can you say about that feature at Kokomo, top notch. My Dad said "there's just to much to watch at one time"! I can't wait to come back in June for 3 nights of Midget Week cause with the splitting amongst the midget ranks here in Wisconsin i don't know how much racing will be worth seeing? Thanks again for all the hospitality, and thanks to Mud Packer for all the directions. I Love Indiana!
Tim,

Great to see you again. As for the directions, you are welcome. Just remember that I am putting my order in now for more horseradish cheese. I couldn't make Lawrenceburg so I guess Marv ended up with mine. I'll have to have a word with Mr. Fishburger next trip down. Indiana is a very friendly place. Come back often and spend a lot of money.

Darn the luck, I had to take a good sized sack home with me.

I think I might have seen your Dad headed up the steps during one of the downtime periods. This gentleman had on a "Doty" cap and there were other telltale WI clues. But, he was up and gone before I could say "Howdy". I was trying to recover feeling in my brasswitchdiggers at the time. I'd never make it in WI.

Again, THANKS for stopping by and for the cheese. Look forward to more visiting during IN Midget Week.
It was great chatting with you also Marv, you are the man! That was my Dad you spotted with the Doty cap on, what were the other telltale WI. clues that tipped you off? I will bring more goodies along for Midget Week. You would make it in WI........just stay inside the house for 7 months out of the year!

A few people gave me the business saying we brought the cold weather with us! It could have followed us?

Stop at Marv's house and check the fridge, maybe he saved you a hunk! Hopefully i can re-load and bring more in June.

Special thanks to Bill for all he does for us to keep this board running. It's through this board that i have met all my "Indiana friends" and i get to chat with them even when i'm not at the races. One more time....."I Love Indiana"

No such luck Tim. First the stove went out at the Fishburger mansion and now I heard through the grapevine that the fridge was on the fritz. Either that or ole Marv is hiding the cheese on me. What's the story here Marv?

How could the stove go out? I didn't think Marv ate much at home? As far as the fridge being on the fritz, i don't know about that, he might be hiding the cheese on you!

Don't mean to rub it in on you Racegal but it was a fun weekend. It's tough for you though cause it would take you about 5 hours to even get to my house, then another 5-6 hours after that. You are just in a geographically challenged spot.

I'll be in the land that I love from June 28th to July 23rd. I'm not sure when Midget Week is.
