Imagine that, RACE FANS on a forum for RACING stating their thoughts and feelings, wow how SHOCKING......... what next, some PROMOTER or TEAM OWNERS coming onto a RACING forum and making statements and printing "press releases".....heaven forbid a DRIVER might next come forward...... ummm, Mr. Moore it seems that this "series" has posted a whole lot of stuff on THIS very forum and it seems that some of those same statements are now questionable...... if you, and the series leaders, don't want us RACE FANS making comments on this forum for RACING then don't make them to began with..... we have a right to read and respond to anything written on here as long as we do not violate the terms of this forum and we are glad that promoters, drivers and owners share this forum because we all love the sport and support it in anyway we can.....

Why dont everyone just go to a few of these races and see what happens ,instead of lynchmobbing someone who is trying to provide the entertainment,steel block or aluminum

Why? We can go to a USAC or MSCS or even a local show and see the same thing now. More cars, more talent, better racing at those venues too.

He can change the rules every five minutes if he wants. It's his series. Start your owns series if you've got a problem with it and put your money where your mouth is. The series has plenty of support so get over it. He's the only promoter who has stepped forward in the last few years in support of promoting midgets in the Indiana area. Is someone forcing you to go watch his series? Don't go if you have a problem with it. Real simple.

So it's okay for the ASCT to changes rules on a whim, do what they want but when USAC does it, it calls for 6 posts by you decrying how they're killing midget racing?

AND again, since you seemed to have missed it, we the RACE FANS have the right, on this public forum to comment on his actions and words. And as far as putting my money where my mouth is think about it, without us RACE FANS you don't have anyplace to go race so I will be putting my money where my mouth is and spending it to watch other series. So you're right, thanks to you and Mr. Gurley I won't go, pretty simple. And I won't even bother checking out the posts anymore even tho i was interested in the series, I was going to Union County since it was pretty close to me but no longer.......

There is NO reason to attack anyone but me. I listened to advice from people I respect greatly and looked at all the info and then I called the play. Be pissed at me if you want but there is no reason, not one, to attack Don or anybody else. The general consensus is that this is the right call and the truth is what is the alternative. Run at any race track you want that has no weight rule it's your choice but at least we are trying to make it as level as possible and offer a good pay off. Oh to those that think we don't have talent running with us, well, boy are you gonna be suprised. I'll be posting a drivers list in the next few days. It's your choice though, run with us or don't but you now have a choice.

I would like to thank John Gurley and the ASCT For making it possible for me to race with them! I met and spoke with this group at the INDY swap meet, after listening to the plans and seeing there purse structure I really considered building-buying a steel blocked engine! But the problem is, it cost just as much to build a good steel engine as it does to buy a good used alum. engine! People dont think about the Alum. blocked guys that would like to run this series, just the 6-10 steel blocked guys that may get mad...the fact is other than the westcoasts non-wing 360 racing 90% of non-wing sprintcars currently have alum. blocks!!! so thanks for giving all of use the chace to race with a new series...

Keep in mind there are many Steel blocked motors that put out 800H.P.
the only difference is 75lb between steel and alum engines!!!!! I think the 1425 weigh run will keep the field very even!!
