Seriously? You seem to have no idea. I grew up around racing and in the pits. I was getting into the pits when there was an age limit by lying. I am 29 years old now. Some of the best memories from my childhood are of being in the pits helping my dad.
You see when you are part of the pit crew there is not time to goof off. I think its great that he is including his kids. These are the racers of tomorrow.
Another thread on how people should raise there kids is not needed. He is including his kids in what he enjoys. THIS IS WHAT DADS ARE SUPPOSE TO DO!
Also to the guy who said staying at home and missing it won't hurt them...
Wrong they will remember not getting to go. I remember not being able to go at times and it crushes you. Most of the times I couldn't go were USAC shows because at 13 or 14 its hard to pass as 18 which was USACs age limit.
