Our family was blessed on 4/7/10 with a new addition when my daughter gave birth to her second child. Trevor is ready to go racing, weighing in at 9 pounds 10 ounces at birth. Mom and baby are doing great and Donovan is learning what it means to be a big brother. Trevor's first racing outing could come as soon as May 2nd, however he will probably be restricted to the camper in the parking lot at the first ISMA race of the year.

Great news !! I'm so happy for you and the family ,I know how much you were looking forward to this !

Thanks Joe, we are truly blessed at my daughter and son-in-laws ages to have two handsome, healthy little boys in our family. Grandma plans on spoiling them and showering them with love every chance she gets while she is back east.

As a fellow grandparent, I'm very happy for you and yours. I heartily agree about starting them out early.

Thanks PJ, yes I know WINGS on ASPHALT could be considered child abuse, probably the IRL at Watkins Glen on July 4th weekend could also be considered child abuse. But, I have faith Dononvan and Trevor will be introduced to a wide range of open wheel racing, both their parents grew up attending ESS Sprints, WOO, Winged and Non-Winged Supermodifieds and INDY Cars. So I think it is safe to say these precious little boys are doomed to the addiction of open wheel auto racing. Grandma will go along with that child abuse, it's in the genes of course, pasted on for five generations now, no end in sight to the child abuse, ha, ha!
