I would have guessed Helio Castroneves. You know he had an EXTENSIVE background in the SC cars :rolling:

That's the correct answer but I remember Al Jr at the Indy Fairgrounds in the late 80's, I think they called it the Hulman 100. Two complete 50 lap races. If my memory is correct he failed to make the show thru qualifing or the semi. He was in the #75 Bills Brake-o car which was driven the previous year by Steve Kinser and he won both 50 lap races.

Here's are a coupletrivia questions for you.

This man was the first to ever do the sweep at Springfield and DuQuoin in the same year.

Who is it?

Who is teh first driver to win both Springfield and DuQuoin in 2 consecutive years?

First question - Tony Bettenhausen 1951. Second question - Jimmy Bryan 1955 & 1956.

I remember Al Jr. at the Hoosier 100 in 1981 & 1982 in the #75 Bills Brake-O car. He tried to qualify in '81 bit ran into what sounded like motor problems. In '82 he and the car did almost a duplicate of '81. Missed the show both years.
