Anyone have midget results?

I have a question for someone who was at Vegas or watched it on USAC Live.

They altered the midget format somewhat from the entry due to the car count by running 3 heats instead of 4. By looking at the results I can see that the top 5 finishers in each heat transferred to the feature.

1) How many cars did they invert in the midget heats?

2) Were the top 4 or top 5 finishers in the midget heats eligible for the invert of the first 3 rows in the feature?

If anyone remembers any of the heat lineups you can determine the answer to the first question if the heat polesitters were Hines, Erickson & Clouser, or Prickett, Mero & McQueen.

Likewise for the feature was the front row Hess & Sweet, or Sweet & Darland.

Does anyone know how the midget driver (Alex Bowman I believe) is doing after his nasty flip last night...

I found this on HoseHeads.....


During qualifying races, in the midget second heat race, Alex Bowman, racing out of the third turn, went into a hard multi-roll, ending at the wall going into the fourth turn. The ambulance was called and Bowman was transferred to University Medical Center (stated by USAC). It appeared to be a very serious accident, but there wasn't any information given out. Prayers go out to Alex Bowman and his family.

Sweet and Darland and Five transferred all eligible for invert

Clouser is not listed in the official finish of the midget race. Anyone know where he finished?
